Career Astrology Report: what it reads, and when to get one
A career reading answers three questions in order: what kind of work suits the chart, which periods support a move or promotion, and what a difficult phase is asking for. It does not pick a job title for you. It shows the houses and periods that carry your working life, so a decision can be timed rather than forced.
What a career reading actually examines
Each factor below is read by the written rule of the text named beside it, not by impression.
The 10th house and its lord
The 10th house is the house of karma, profession and public standing. The sign on its cusp and where its lord sits set the tone: a 10th lord in the 11th links career to networks and gains; in the 12th, to foreign lands or work behind the scenes.

Saturn, Sun and Mercury
Saturn is the significator of work and discipline, the Sun of authority and recognition, Mercury of skills and communication. Their dignity (exalted, own sign, debilitated) says how easily each theme expresses.

The 6th house
The 6th house governs service, employment, competition and daily routine. A strong 6th lord favours salaried work and winning contests; a weak one asks for care with colleagues and health under pressure.

Dasha timing
A change of job or a promotion tends to land in the sub-period of a planet connected to the 10th, 6th or 2nd house. The Vimshottari sequence gives the calendar; transits of Jupiter and Saturn over those houses confirm the window.

KP sub-lord of the 10th cusp
In KP astrology the sub-lord of the 10th cusp decides whether a career change is promised at all in a given period, before any timing is attempted.

Questions this reading answers
- Should I change jobs this year, or wait?
- Is a promotion likely in my current role?
- Would I do better employed or running my own practice?
- Why has my career stalled since a certain year?
- Which months suit interviews and negotiations?
The most common misreading
The most common mistake is reading a Saturn period as automatically bad for work. Saturn is the planet of work; its periods slow expansion but often bring the roles people keep for a decade. Whether it delays or delivers depends on the houses it rules in your chart.
